earthquake. >>marty: in the bay area, around 100 people have been displaced after a fire in an apartment building in san jose overnight. firefighters responded to a call after 1:00 a.m.. they found heavy smoke and flames coming from the building. at least six people had to be rescued from the flames. there is no cause yet determined as there are no serious injuries. >>marty: in the east bay, we have new details on a deadly crash in san leandro. it is now being investigated as a homicide. around 4:00 p.m. yesterday, a transit bus driver may have intentionally hid a hell's angel motorcyclist on eastbound 580 and dragged him for several miles. investigators say it appears there was an argument between the biker and the driver. no one else was on the bus during the time of the crash. the bus driver

the time right now is 8:31 a.m.. >>marty: new this morning, a deadly stabbing overnight in san jose. it happened on virginia street and the vine avenue. officers arrived to find a man unconscious. the man died at the hospital from stab wounds. suspect's are trying to uncover a motive. authorities in san leandro have arrested a bus driver accused of intentionally hitting and killing a member of the hell's angels. the crash happened on eastbound 580. the motorcyclist was tried for several miles down the interstate. investigators are saying, it appears there was an argument between the biker and driver. the driver is in custody this morning on suspicion of hit and run into a martyr. police in the south bay are searching for

a man they suspected of killing someone at hell's angels funeral early this month. swat team members surrounded a house in stockton holding to find this man, steve ruiz. the area was locked down for several hours. police have not said why ruiz was not at home. the occupy protesters say that they are staying, they are demonstrating against what they call corporate greed. that is despite a warning that they could be removed by police. da lin spoke with police about the ultimatum and the response from demonstrators. >>da: many protesters worry that their days camped in front of city hall are numbered. the question now is, what now? >> there is some fear of aggression. >>da: oakland officials remained tight-lipped. they

say that they are committed to removing the encampment. san jose and san francisco police used force earlier in the week to remove protesters and supplies. protesters in oakland say they are ready for that. >> just lay down. peaceful resistance. there is a time line between defending yourself and being seen as aggressive. besides that some of these people are very peaceful. >>da: the camera and started back on october 10th. conditions have gone downhill in recent days. they claim that protesters are violating if public health and safety codes. many people in this tent city state that corrections could be made. >> it is about our point of view, it is not about violent demonstrations.

>>marty: in redwood city overnight, a pedestrian was hit and killed by a driver on highway 101 just north of third avenue. investigators do not know why the pedestrian was on the highway. tomorrow, a former mailroom employee at a medical center in berlin game is said to be arranged. she is accused of embezzlement and forgery in the death of about 1500 patient records. prosecutors say that she was overwhelmed by sorting all of the records at work and

>>marty: death a powerful earthquake in turkey overnight. there are reports of deaths and injuries. several aftershocks as strong as a magnitude 5.5 followed today's earthquake in turkey. police in san jose are investigating an officer involved shooting that happened just about an hour ago when police responded to a call that a suspicious person was at the extended stay hotel. the suspects left. threatening to officers and was shot. he was struck once by gunfire. his condition at this point is unknown. about 100 people have been displaced after a
